Space travel has come a long way since I was a lad and so have the action figures and toys based upon the theme. In my era, space travel related toys were very much restricted what you could do with an empty washing-up liquid bottle – which wasn’t much really? Of course, back then, the Space Shuttle was just science fiction – not the everyday reality that many of us take for granted today. Despite this, space ships and rockets can still capture the imaginations of young minds more than most other themes and this Mega Rig Shuttle Mission is a perfect example.
What’s great about this action toy is that it’s so much more than just a replica model. The removable parts can be reconfigured to create up to 30 vehicle and space craft variations so there is virtually no chance of getting bored. The set also includes a UFO model has working lights and sound effects with a working missile launcher which really gets the imagination working.
All in all, a great activity toy and one that won’t be left abandoned in the toy box any time soon.
